Life is good. Life is bad. Life is happy. Life is sad. Sometimes, life is all of this at the same time. But whatever life throws your way, there is always, always something to be thankful for. That is the purpose of this experiment. 366 Days of Gratitude... One leap year. It probably won't change your world, or your view of the world. But I hope it changes mine. One day, one moment, one blessing at a time.....

Day 11 of 366
*I watched my son at his Beaver's meeting tonight. Made me think back to a little Brownie many years ago. I am so thankful for the Guiding organization. They have given me so much. I have learned more than even i probably realize - about the world but mores about myself. I found my confidence. My ability to lead. My voice. I won't lie. I'm a little disappointed I will never have a little girl to carry on the tradition. But watching my son in Scouting is just as good. Even if it is not this organization, I hope he finds his passion.. and himself.
*As the cold snap continues, I am so glad I have command start. I've become soft in my old age. Climbing into a warm - or at least warmer - car in the morning makes it just a little easier to tolerate.
*I'm thankful for warm clean sheets fresh out of the dryer. There's nothing better than that first night in a newly made bed. And that's where I am headed as soon as I hit Publish. Night all :)
