Life is good. Life is bad. Life is happy. Life is sad. Sometimes, life is all of this at the same time. But whatever life throws your way, there is always, always something to be thankful for. That is the purpose of this experiment. 366 Days of Gratitude... One leap year. It probably won't change your world, or your view of the world. But I hope it changes mine. One day, one moment, one blessing at a time.....

Day 20 of 366
*I'm thankful that the cold weather is finally lifting. Short walks with the dog feel good in the winter. When you aren't worried about frostbite on your nose.....
*Gavin had karate tonight. I caught a little bit at the end. I'm thankful that I am able to help him do something he is passionate about. That he loves. That he enjoys. He will probably never be a black belt. But he has improved so much. I'm grateful I have the means, ability, and willingness to support him in whatever he wants to try. Right now, anyway.
*I'm thankful for 20 minute fish sticks. I'm doing pretty good eating out one night max a week. Sometimes we make it all week without any. That's a far cry from the 4 or 5 times per week of a few years back. The pocketbook and the waistline are thankful for that. And fish sticks help on rushed days like today when you have an hour to cook, clean up, and get where you want to be.
