Life is good. Life is bad. Life is happy. Life is sad. Sometimes, life is all of this at the same time. But whatever life throws your way, there is always, always something to be thankful for. That is the purpose of this experiment. 366 Days of Gratitude... One leap year. It probably won't change your world, or your view of the world. But I hope it changes mine. One day, one moment, one blessing at a time.....

Day 15 of 366
* I took the day off today. I wasn't really sick. But I was exhausted. And I have come to realize how important mental health days are. I had plans to clean the house, but I dozed on and off on the couch most of the day instead, and felt for the better after it. I needed that time to refuel. I'm thankful that I have the ability to do that every so often. Not often enough, but once and a while. I know you can't pour anything out of an empty cup, and this cup runneth dry far too frequently. The down time is a life saver. I don't even feel guilty about it....
*I did was the living room laminate today. And I'm thankful for clean, streak free floors. Two passes with hot water and vinegar, and my room looks and smells clean. Its easier to focus when not surrounded by chaos. Hopefully I can make progress over the rest of the house this weekend.
*I'm thankful for command start. Yes, its materialistic. But when its -40, its very much appreciated. A cold car is no fun. I don't really have to go into more detail as to why.... Money well spent. Especially when winter lasts 8 months of the year...
