*I'm thankful for Lego video games. Really, I am. They are entertaining, family friendly, teamwork oriented, and fun. Something Gavin loves to do, and he and I can do together, but also something he can do just as well on his own.
*It was 7 years ago today that I found out I was pregnant. That I told my husband we were going to be a family. Facebook Memories told me that. I'm thankful that I have found that feature, and that I am now in the right headspace that I can use it. Because sometimes a memory like that flashes across the screen. A snapshot of what was going through my head in special moments of days gone by. Reading the status made me smile. Made me remember. I'll be forever thankful for those memories. Time is so short, so fleeting. You really never know what is around the corner....
*Gavin and I spent the most of the afternoon at a birthday party. He had so much fun. Watching him smile makes me smile. Its nice to have the chance to see him be himself, be a kid. They grow up so fast. And so much of his days are now spent at school, me at work. I like those glimpses into his life. And I love hearing his laugh and knowing its real....
